What is arthritis?

Well, to start with, arthritis isn’t just a singular disease – in fact, the term “arthritis” is more of a catch-all term to describe the joint pain and/or disease. In actuality, there are over 100 different types of arthritis; the two most common types of arthritis are osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.

Osteoarthritis (OA) is a painful, degenerative joint disease and it characterized by the breakdown of cartilage in the joints and is often caused by “ wear and tear”. As OA progresses, joint flexibility is reduced, bony spurs develop, and the joint swells.

Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is an autoimmune inflammatory disease in which the body releases enzymes that attack its own healthy tissues. In RA, these enzymes destroy the linings of joints. The synovial membrane becomes thickened and inflamed, producing fluid that causes joint swelling.

It is never too soon to think about joint health. Pain, stiffness and inflammation can all affect mobility, so it is important to protect our bones from the wear and tear they experience everyday.

Features & Benefits:

  •   Lubrication of the joints

NES eggshell membrane is made up of hyaluronic acid. It is a gel like fluid that cushions and lubricates the joint, acting as a shock absorber.

  •   Act as protection for the cartilage and joints

NES eggshell membrane contains chondroitin assists glucosamine in protecting joints by creating a flexible matrix between connective tissue and the protein filaments of cartilage. This matrix prevents enzymes from damaging the cartilage and it maintains the nourishing fluid within the joint cartilage, which provides nutrients and absorbs shock from the joint.

  •   Prevent post-exercise joint pain

NES strengthen our joint structure to reduce the risk of injury after an intense workout, or if an injury occurs, supplements can increase the rate of recovery dramatically.

  •   Maintenance of healthy joint and connective tissues

The eggshell membrane in NES is also made up of fibrous proteins like collagen and elastin, which contributes to the strength and flexibility of the connective tissues and joints. NES helps to repair tissue repair, cellular differentiation and immune

Naturally occuring nutrients:

  •   Glucosamine

Glucosamine stimulates the body to produce GAGs – which are building blocks of cartilage. It also plays a role in producing the other components of joint tissue such as tendons and synovial fluid. It may stimulate production of hyaluronic acid.

  •   Chondroitin

Chondroitin stimulates the synthesis of cartilage in the body and has high water retention capacity in the cartilage tissue. It assists in the nutrient supply of the cartilage and also stimulates the formation of glucosamine in the body.

  •   Collagen

The high collagen content of the egg’s membranes make it especially helpful in the treatment of connective tissue diseases. Collagen actually provides the slender fibers of the interlaced strands that make up tendons and ligaments.

  •   Hyaluronic acid

It is also present in the skin but also joint fluid and has a component of the natural cartilagesubstance. Its main function is the lubrication and dampening of the joints.

  •   Desmosine & Isodesmosine

Two virtually unknown amino acids that are responsible for helping with the elasticity of jointtissues.

  •   Elastin

A protein that supports skin, cartilage and spinal health. It helps to give tissues elasticityandthe ability to resume shape after stretching.

  •   Glycosaminoglycans (GAG)

Glycosaminoglycans' primary role is to maintain and support collagen, elastin andturgidity(bounce) in the cellular spaces and keep protein fibers in balance and proportion. It alsopromotes the ability of the collagen and elastin fibers to retain moisture, therefore remainingsoluble.

Recommended for:

  •   Individuals who wish to strengthen their joints and cartilage for better exercise performance or endurance.
  •   Anyone who wishes to prevent joint and cartilage injuries after excessive exercise.
  •   People suffering from osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and other injuries on the joints andcartilage.
  •   The elderly who wish to maintain the flexibility of their body and prevent deteriorationof joints, cartilage and synovial fluid.

05.

Recommended Usage:

  •   Mix one sachet in room temperature water or any nutritious drinks.

Do you know herbs and spices can help to relieve arthritis pain?

Arthritis symptoms can keep you from going about your everyday activities. To get relief, more and more people with arthritis are seeking a natural approach by using herbal remedies. Here are a few lists of herbs and spices that helps to relieve pain from arthritis.

Tumeric
Tumeric, the spice that gives the curry its distinctive colour, has plenty of pain relieving properties. It contains curcumin and curcuminoid, chemicals that decrease inflammation and slows the progression of arthritis.

Garlic
Garlic is a tasty addition to just about any savory dish. Like onions and leeks, it contains diallyl disulfide, an anti-inflammatory compound that limits the effects of pro-inflammatory cytokines. Garlic, therefore can help fight the pain, inflammation and cartilage damage of arthritis.

Cinnamon
It acts as anti-inflammatory agent. Cinnamaldehyde present in cinnamon. inhibit the activation of inflammation causing factors such as arachidonic acids.

Green tea
Green tea packed with polyphenols, antioxidant believed to reduce inflammation and cartilage destruction. Epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG) present in green tea blocks the production of molecules that causes joint damage in arthritis.

Neetle
Nettle is applied to the skin, which gives a stinging effect, overriding arthritis pain. Nettle leaves are covered with tiny hair, which has high silicon content. When the leaf touches the skin, the sharp point of the hair enters the skin along with the compounds. These compounds help to reduce the pain by stimulating its neurons.
